LAGOS Team Policies

A critical feature of high-performing research teams are clear expectations, practices, and policies that are equitable, transparent, and flexible. One mechanism to achieve such clarity is for research teams to collectively create team policies that help the team to meet their goals while also ensuring that all members of the team have their individual needs met. Below are the example policies that our research teams have created after years of refinement, revision, and reviewing. Anyone is free to use these as a guide to initiate discussions in their own teams as policies are most effective when drafted collectively with all members of the team playing an active role.
