Equity and ethics in STEM

Our research examines the climate for inclusion at multiple organizational levels – the research group, department, and profession – each of which may reflect fit and shape academic career outcomes among underrepresented, early-career STEM scholars. Specifically, we hypothesize that among early-career STEM individuals: a) those from underrepresented groups will have worse academic career outcomes, and b) these outcomes will be partly explained by underrepresented individuals reporting environments with less inclusive climates at the group, organizational, and professional levels.
