The LAGOS research platforms were created by many individuals working in a highly collaborative effort. The LAGOS-US and LAGOS-NE research platforms were each created by a different, large interdisciplinary research team funded by two separate grants from the U.S. National Science Foundation’s Macrosystems Biology Program. Although other funds have contributed personnel, resources, and data to these efforts, these two grants and teams are the primary means by which the LAGOS research platforms have been created and made available.
